Discover the power of your dog’s nose and see the world from your dog’s eyes – or nose, rather!
Scent detection is a fun sport you can play with your dog by teaching them to find a specific scent and indicate to you where it is.
It’s how we teach airport dogs to detect drugs and conservation dogs to find evidence of endangered species.
This is the game you can play with your dog anytime and anywhere, utilising their phenomenal natural instincts and abilities.
If you have a dog that gets bored easily and seemingly never tires, this is the workshop for you!
Using their nose helps to tire out and calm dogs down, so it’s great for dogs that are energetic or anxious.
Join this workshop to learn a skill that will enhance your relationship with your dog, grow their confidence and become an addictive and fun hobby for you both.
This 3-hour workshop will cover:
Scent Theory – How your dog’s nose works and how they use it to do amazing things.
Indication – Teach your dog how to communicate to you when they have found the scent.
Search Skills – How to systematically work through an area so your dog can win the game.
Bonus: You will also receive a Mini Scent Kit to get you started and a Scent Detection Guide with the instructions and scent games to play at home.
- Suitable from puppy, and no upper age limit!
- Progress through levels, earn rosettes and even enter competitions.
- Great for sniffy dogs that love to use their nose.
- UK Sniffer Dog Certified Instructor.

How will the workshop work?
